This is about the third step of the rhythm
Day 3 — Connect / Contextualise
“Meaning comes from relationships”
The information on this page builds on what you discovered in the previous two steps. It helps you to begin to frame solutions or options for something important to you. Something that you have chosen to deal with. Use this in combination with what has been sent to you by email. If you're not getting the emails, go here.
Why this step exists
Most problems feel heavier than they are because they’re isolated in the mind.
Context turns weight into structure.
This step prevents fast, wrong solutions.
What to consider
- What feeds this?
- What does it influence?
- Where else does this pattern show up?
You’re looking for relationships, not answers in this step.
What to avoid
- Forcing conclusions
- Turning context into justification
- Drifting into analysis paralysis
You’re mapping the terrain, not choosing a path yet.
What success feels like
Curiosity replaces urgency.
You begin to see options instead of pressure.
In General
Again, don’t be tempted to overthink, overdo or rush this step. The power of this basic cycle of thinking and events is it’s simplicity. The goal is to remove complexity and improve focus.
If you spend more than 10 minutes doing this step, you’re probably overthinking 🙂 Today you’re building on the clarity you achieved with the previous step.
